Here is what you can do to keep your appliance performing at its best.

Remove the hose from the machine
Push a broom handle (or something similar) through the hose to remove the blockage - How do I clean the post-motor filter?Cleaning the post-motor filter
Pull the tab on the post-motor filter cover and remove
Remove filter
Tap the post-motor filter on the side of a bin
Rinse the filter under the tap (no detergent)

Remove the dirt container
Pull to remove the filter frame
Remove the filter from the filter frame
Tap against the side of a bin
Rinse filter under the tap (no detergent)

Remove the dirt container
Release dirt from the dirt container
Turn the central shroud anti-clockwise and pull to remove
Tap the central shroud against the side of a bin
Wipe the inside of the dirt container with a soft cloth
Troubleshooting
Here is what you can do to keep your appliance performing at its best.
- Have you checked the suction from the motor?
Remove the dirt container and switch the machine on
Place your hand or a piece of paper over the hole located on the machine, where the dirt container is normally attached to
Suction?
Yes?
Go to 'Have you cleaned the filters?'
No?
- Have you cleaned the filters?
Remove dirt container
Remove the filter from the back of the dirt container, seperate the filter and filter foam and tap to get all of the dust off
Rinse the filter and the filter foam under the tap (max 40 degrees, no detergent) allow at least 24 hours for it to fully air dry before placing back in the machine
Remove the shroud from the dirt container
Inspect the holes for blockages and clear debris
No improvement?
Go to 'Have you checked the hose?'

Remove the hose from the machine
Drop a small ball of paper down the top of the hose
Is the paper stuck?
Yes?
There is a blockage and this will need to be removed
No?
Complete a visual check of the hose
Are there any splits/tears on the hose?
Yes?
A replacement hose is required, go to 'Spares' tab above
No?
