Maintenance
Here is what you can do to keep your appliance performing at its best.
Emptying and cleaning the dirty water tank and filter
Press the button on the dirty water tank to remove from the machine.
Lift the clip on the back of the tank to remove the lid.
Empty the dirty water tank over a sink.
Rinse the dirty water tank through with warm water to remove any dirt/debris (40°C max, no detergent).
Wipe the filter with a cloth to remove any dirt or debris
Refit the dirty water tank lid and secure the clip.
Refit the dirty water tank on to the machine.
Cleaning the rotating brushbar
Switch the machine off and unplug from the wall socket.
With both tanks removed, lie the machine back.
Undo the 2 screws to remove the belt cover.
Using a crosshead screwdriver remove the 4 screws on the side brushes and the top and bottom screws from each of the rug guards (metal pins) to get access to the brushbar.
Pull and slide to remove the left end cap. Pull and slide to remove the right end cap and unloop the belt from the brushbar.
Using a pair of scissors, remove any threads or hair caught around the brushes. Rinse under water to remove debris.
To refit, loop the brushbar through the belt and onto the belt grip, and push the brushbar in to place.
Line up the ‘right’ side brushes with the base and slide into place. Attach the brushbar to the side brushes.
Attach the ‘left’ side of the brushbar to the side brushes. Slide onto the side of the base and in to place.
Refit the belt cover and 2 screws. Replace the rug guards then replace all screws tightening to secure.
Cleaning the Spin Scrub brushbar
Switch off and unplug the machine from the mains.
Remove the tanks and lie the machine back.
Pull to remove the Spinscrub brushes.
Cut any threads or hair from around the bristles.
Rinse the brushbar under the tap (Max 40°C).
Line up the spindle and push the brushes in to place.
Cleaning the nozzle
Switch the machine off and unplug from the wall socket.
With both tanks removed, lie the machine back.
Lift the nozzle release clip and pull to remove the nozzle.
Rinse the nozzle through with warm water to remove any dirt/debris (40°C max, no detergent).
Align the tabs on the nozzle with the machine.
Push the nozzle into place.
