Maintenance
Here is what you can do to keep your appliance performing at its best.
Cleaning the pre-motor filter
Remove the dirt container.
Twist the lid anti-clockwise and lift to remove.
Pull the filter to remove.
Tap the filter over the bin to remove any dirt and debris.
Rinse the filter under the tap (40°C max, no detergent).
Allow 24 hours to air dry.
Emptying and cleaning the dirt container
Remove the dirt container.
Empty the dirt container over a bin.
Twist the outer shroud to remove.
Twist the separator to remove.
Tap the separator over a bin to clear any dirt and debris.
Replace the separator and then the outer shroud, making sure it is lined up correctly.
Cleaning the post-motor filter
Twist to remove the post-motor filter cover.
Pull the filter to remove.
Tap the post-motor filter on the side of a bin. DO NOT WASH. If the filter is heavily discoloured it will need to be replaced.
