Maintenance
Here is what you can do to keep your appliance performing at its best.
Removing a blockage from the hose
Remove the hose from the machine.
Push a broom handle (or something similar) through the hose to remove the blockage.
Cleaning the pre-motor filter
Remove the dirt container.
Turn the lid anti-clockwise.
Remove the pre-motor filter.
Tap the filter against the side of a bin.
Rinse the filter under the tap (no detergent).
Allow 24 hours to air dry.
Emptying and cleaning the dirt container
Remove the dirt container.
Release the dirt from the dirt container.
Turn the lid anti-clockwise.
Remove the pre-motor filter.
Turn the central shroud anti-clockwise.
Lift to remove.
Tap the central shroud against the side of a bin.
Rinse the central shroud under the tap.
Allow 24 hours to air dry.
Cleaning the post-motor filter
Press down the tab on the post-motor filter cover and remove.
Remove filter.
Tap the post-motor filter on the side of a bin. DO NOT WASH.
