Maintenance
Here is what you can do to keep your appliance performing at its best.
Removing a blockage from the hose
Remove the hose from the machine.
Push a broom handle (or something similar) through the hose to remove the blockage.
Cleaning the pre-motor filter
Remove the dirt container.
Turn the lid anti-clockwise and lift to remove.
Remove the pre-motor filter.
Tap the filter against the side of a bin.
Rinse the filter under the tap (no detergent).
Allow 24 hours to air dry.
Emptying and cleaning the dirt container
Remove the dirt container.
Press the dirt release latch and release the dirt from the dirt container.
Turn the lid anti-clockwise and lift the lid to remove.
Remove the pre-motor filter.
Lift the separator to remove.
Twist the separator cap to remove.
Tap the separator against the side of a bin.
Cleaning the post-motor filter
Twist the post-motor filter cover on the wheel.
Pull filter to remove.
Tap the filter against the side of a bin – DO NOT WASH.
