Here is what you can do to keep your appliance performing at its best.

Removing a blockage from the hose
Remove the hose

Remove the hose from the base.

Remove dirt container

Remove the dirt container.

Drop paper

Drop a ball of paper down the top of the hose. If it gets stuck there is a blockage that needs to be removed.

Cleaning the pre-motor filter
Remove dirt container

Remove the dirt container and turn the lid anti-clockwise.

Remove the dirt bin lid

Remove the dirt container lid.

Remove the pre motor filter

Remove the pre-motor filter.

Rinse filter

Tap the filter against the side of a bin and rinse under the tap (no detergent).

Leave filter to dry

Allow 24 hours to air dry.

Emptying and cleaning the dirt container
Remove dirt container

Remove the dirt container.

Empty dirt container

Release dirt from the dirt container.

Remove the dirt bin lid

Remove the dirt container lid.

Remove the separator

Remove the separator.

Wipe separator

Use a cloth to remove any debris.

Cleaning the post-motor filter
Remove dirt container

Remove the dirt container.

Remove post motor filter cover

Remove the post motor filter cover.

Remove post motor filter

Lift to remove the post motor filter.

Tap filter

Tap the filter against the side of a bin – DO NOT WASH.

Clearing a blockage from the brushbar
Unplug machine

Switch the machine off and unplug from the wall socket.

Undo screws

Turn the machine over and undo the screw underneath.

Brushbar cover clips

Undo the brushbar cover clips.

Remove brushbar cover

Remove the brushbar cover.

Pull debris off brushbar

Remove any debris from around the brushbar.

Re-setting the brushbar
Remove dirt bin

If the red light appears, recline the machine.

Lift lid

Press the brushbar reset button 3 times.

Lift separator

Switch the machine on, the green light should appear on the base.

Pull filter

If brushes don't turn, press the brushbar on/off button.

Removing and replacing the floorhead
Unplug machine

Unplug the machine from the wall socket.

Remove the hose

Detach the hose from the floorhead.

Turn machine over

Place the vacuum cleaner on the floor facing down.

Push bolt

Turn the screw head anti-clockwise to loosen then remove screw connecting the floorhead to the main body.

Removing the floorhead

The floorhead can now be lifted out of the connector on the main body.

Replacing the floorhead

Place the main body of the vacuum cleaner containing the bin lid on the floor upside down. Turn the floor head face down and slot the floor head connector into the main body of the vacuum cleaner.

Replace the bolt

Place the screw provided into the screw hole. NOTE: The screw will only work in one direction, please place screw through unit on side indicated by arrow.

Tighten the bolt

Place the screw head over the end of the screw and turn clockwise to tighten.

Replace hose

Lift the vacuum cleaner and place on the floor in the upright position. Connect the hose to the floor head ensuring that it clicks into place.
