Maintenance

Here is what you can do to keep your appliance performing at its best.

Removing a blockage from the hose
Remove hose

Remove the hose from the machine

Remove blockage

Push a broom handle (or something similar) through the hose to remove the blockage

Cleaning the pre-motor filter
Remove dirt container

Remove the dirt container

Remove dirt container lid

Remove the dirt container lid and pre-motor filter

Tap filter against bin

Tap the pre-motor filter against the side of a bin

Allow to dry

Rinse under the tap (no detergent) and allow 24 hours to air dry

Emptying and cleaning the dirt container
Remove dirt container

Remove the dirt container

Release dirt

Release dirt from the dirt container

Remove filter from lid

Remove the pre-motor filter

Remove separator

Remove the dust separator

Tap separator against bin

Tap the separator against the side of a bin

Cleaning the post-motor filter
Remove dirt container

Remove the dirt container

Remove post motor filter

Remove the post-motor filter cover

Tap filter

Tap the post-motor filter on the side of a bin

Do not wash

DO NOT WASH

Clearing a blockage from the brushbar
Remove threads or hair

Remove any threads or hair caught around the brush bar with a pair of scissors
