Maintenance
Here is what you can do to keep your appliance performing at its best.
Emptying and cleaning the dirt container
Remove the dirt container lid.
Press the dirt container release button.
Push the separator through the side to remove.
Pinch to lift the foam filter.
Tap the separator over a bin to remove any debris.
Rinse the foam filter under the tap.
Accessing and cleaning the brushbar
Remove the floorhead from the wand.
Turn the floorhead over and remove the screws on the side cover.
Remove the side cover.
Pull to remove the brushbar.
Cut away any threads or hair and tap the brushbar over the bin to remove any remaining dirt and debris.
Replace the brushbar, making sure it is lined up correctly inside the brushbar housing.
Clearing a blockage
Remove the wand from the handheld, and the floorhead from the other end of the wand.
Drop a ball of paper down the wand to check for blockages.
If the paper gets stuck, use a long thin item, such as a broom handle to push any obstructions through the wand.
