Maintenance

Here is what you can do to keep your appliance performing at its best.

Cleaning the pre-motor filter
Remove the dirt container

Remove the dirt container.

Remove the lid

Lift the pre-motor filter assembly.

Remove filter from lid

Remove the pre-motor filter.

Tap filter against bin

Tap filter against the side of a bin to remove dirt/debris.

Rinse under the tap

Rinse filter under the tap.

Leave to dry

Allow 24 hours to air dry.

Emptying and cleaning the dirt container
Remove dirt container

Remove the dirt container.

Empty dirt bin

Press the dirt container release button to release the dirt.

Remove the lid

Lift to remove the pre motor filter and lid.

Remove the separator

Pull to remove the separator.

Wipe the separator

Tap the separator over a bin and wipe with a soft cloth.

Accessing and cleaning the brushbar
Remove the battery

Remove the battery.

Turn machine over

Lie the machine on its front.

Undo brushbar clips

Press to remove the brushbar cover clips.

Remove debris from brushbar

Pull to remove any dirt or debris.

Cleaning the terminals
Remove battery

Remove the battery.

Clean battery terminals

Wipe the terminals on the battery and machine with a soft cloth.

Clean charger terminals

Wipe the terminals on the charger with a soft cloth.
