Maintenance
Here is what you can do to keep your appliance performing at its best.
Cleaning the pre-motor filter
Remove the handheld from the main unit.
Press the button to release the dirt container.
Squeeze the tabs to lift the filter and separator.
Separate the filter and frame from the separator.
Tap the separator over a bin.
Pinch the filter foam to remove from the filter frame.
Rinse the filter foam under the tap (no detergent).
Allow 24 hours to air dry.
Emptying and cleaning the dirt container
Remove the handheld from the main unit.
Press the button to release the dirt container.
Squeeze the tabs to lift the filter and separator.
Empty the dirt into a bin.
Separate the filter and frame from the separator.
Tap the separator over a bin.
Clearing a blockage from the brushbar
Remove the handheld from the main unit.
Using scissors, cut any hair from around the brushbar.
Pull to remove any debris.
Cleaning the terminals
Unplug the charger and lift the machine off the docking station.
Wipe the terminals on the docking station with a soft cloth.
Remove the handheld from the main unit.
Wipe the terminals on the main unit with a soft cloth.
Wipe the terminals on the handheld with a soft cloth.
