Here is what you can do to keep your appliance performing at its best.
Emptying and cleaning the dirt container and separator
Remove the dirt container.
Whilst holding the dirt container over a bin, press the dirt release button to empty the dirt and debris. Push to close the dirt release flap
Push the tab on the lid of the dirt container and lift to open.
Pull the filter tab and remove the filter from the separator.
Lift the separator from the dirt container.
Use a soft brush to remove any dirt or debris from the separator.
Re-fit the separator making sure it is aligned correctly, and re-fit the filter.
Close the dirt container lid and re-fit the dirt container on to the machine.
Clearing a blockage around the brushbar
Remove the battery from the machine.
Using a coin, twist the end of the brush bar to release.
Pull to remove the brush bar.
Using a pair of scissors, cut along the groove to remove any hairs or threads.
Clear any dirt/debris inside the brushbar housing.
Push the brushbar back in to the floorhead and twist to lock into place.
Cleaning the filters
Remove the dirt container.
Push the tab on the lid of the dirt container and lift to open.
Pull the filter tab and remove the filter from the separator.
Tap the filter over the bin to remove any dirt and debris.
Rinse the filter under the tap (40°C max, no detergent).
Allow 24 hours to air dry.
Press the hose release clip and pull to remove the hose from the machine.
Press the tab at the top of the filter cover and pull to remove.
Press the tab at the top of the filter and pull to remove.
Remove the sponge from the filter and check for any discolouration. Replace the filter when it is heavily discoloured. Do not wash.
Clearing a blockage from the brushroll
Remove the battery from the machine.
Using a coin, twist the end of the brushroll to release. NOTE: The brushroll cover cannot be removed.
Pull the tab down to remove the brushroll.
Use a damp cloth to remove any dirt/debris from the brushroll and allow the brushroll to fully air dry.
Clear any dirt/debris inside the brushroll housing.
Refit the brushroll, pushing the tab in to place.
Twist the endcap to lock the brushroll in to place
