Here is what you can do to keep your appliance performing at its best.

Emptying and cleaning the dirt container
Remove dirt bin

Remove the dirt container.

Empty dirt container

Hold the dirt container over a bin and press the dirt release button to allow dirt and debris to fall out. To close, push the dirt release door until it clicks into place.

Remove separator

Remove the separator from the dirt container.

Wipe separator

Tap the separator against a bin to remove any dirt and debris and wipe the metal shroud with a dry cloth.

Replace dirt bin

To re-fit, tilt the dirt container and line the front of the container up onto machine. Push back until it clicks into place.

Accessing and cleaning the brushbar
Remove battery

Remove the battery from the machine, and lie the machine on its back.

Release brushbar

Turn the tab on the brushbar cover anticlockwise to release the brushbar.

Pull brushbar

Pull the brushbar out from the housing.

Cut hairs

To remove any threads or hair, slide the blade of a pair of scissors into the groove on the brushbar and cut along the groove.

Clean housing

Clear any dirt/debris from the end caps and inside the housing of the floorhead.

Refit brushbar

Refit the brushbar into the floorhead.

Lock brushbar

Align the arrow on the brushbar cover to the unlock symbol. Push firmly and twist the tab clockwise so the arrow is pointing to the lock symbol.

Cleaning the filter and separator
Remove dirt bin

Remove the dirt container.

Lift lid

Press the filter access button on the lid of the dirt container to lift the lid.

Pull filter

Pull the tab on the filter to remove.

Remove separator

Remove the separator from the dirt container.

Tap filter

Tap the filter and separator against a bin to remove dirt and debris.

Wipe separator

Wipe over the separator with a dry cloth.

Rinse filter

Rinse the filter under running water (40°C max). Leave for at least 24hrs or until fully dry before replacing.
