Here is what you can do to keep your appliance performing at its best.
Accessing the belt and brushbar
Switch the machine off and unplug from the wall socket.
Remove the tanks and lie the machine back.
Remove the 8 screws underneath.
Lift the belt cover off.
Remove the belt, if damaged this will need to be replaced.
Remove both brushbars.
Clean any hair or threads off the brushbars.
Loop the belt around the brushbars and refit the brushbars into the machine.
Pull the belt over the metal spindle, making sure it is aligned correctly.
Cleaning the dirty water tank (Quick Pour Spout)
Press the release button and pull to remove the dirty water tank.
Open the quick pour spout and empty the tank.
Rinse with warm water.
Allow the tank time to dry.
How do I clean the dirty water tank? (Tank with Removable Lid)
Press the release button and pull to remove the dirty water tank.
Lift the dirty water tank clips up to unlock.
Move the clips out to release the tank from the base.
Lift to remove dirty water tank lid. Empty the dirt water tank and rinse dirty water tank and lid under water to remove debris (Max 40°C).
Clean the filter screen located at the back of the dirty water tank.
To re-fit, tilt the dirty water tank and line up to carpet washer. Push back until it clicks into place.
