Here is what you can do to keep your appliance performing at its best.

Accessing the belt and brushbar

Switch the machine off and unplug from the wall socket.

Remove the tanks and lie the machine back.

Remove the 8 screws underneath.

Lift the belt cover off.

Remove the belt, if damaged this will need to be replaced.

Remove both brushbars.

Clean any hair or threads off the brushbars.

Loop the belt around the brushbars and refit the brushbars into the machine.

Pull the belt over the metal spindle, making sure it is aligned correctly.
