Maintenance

Here is what you can do to keep your appliance performing at its best.

Cleaning the pre-motor filter

Remove the dirt container

Remove the dirt container from the handheld

Pull to open dirt container lid

Pull to open the dirt container lid

Pull to remove the separator

Pull to remove the separator from the dirt container

Pull to remove filter

Pull the fabric tab to remove the filter from the separator, and tap the filter against the side of a bin to remove any dirt/debris

Rinse filter under the tap

Rinse filter under the tap (no detergent)

Leave filter to air dry

Allow 24 hours to air dry

Emptying and cleaning the dirt container

Remove the dirt container

Remove the dirt container from the handheld

Release the dirt from the dirt container

Whilst holding the dirt container over a bin, press the dirt release button to empty the dirt and debris. Push to close the dirt release flap

Pull to open dirt container lid

Pull to open the dirt container lid

Pull to remove the separator

Pull the separator to remove from the dirt container and tap against the side of a bin to remove and dirt or debris. Replace the separator and filter and push the dirt container lid to close

Clearing a blockage from the brushbar

Remove the floorhead

Remove the floorhead from the reach wand

Remove brushbar with coin

Using a coin, twist the end of the brushbar to release

Pull brushbar to remove 1

Pull to remove the brushbar

Cut threads from brushbar

Using a pair of scissors, cut away any hairs or threads

Pull to remove debris from brushbar

Pull to remove any remaining debris from the bristles

Replace the brushbar

Push the brushbar back in to the floorhead and twist to lock into place

Clearing a blockage

Removing the reach wand

Remove the reach wand from the machine.

Remove the floorhead

Remove the floorhead from the reach wand.

Drop ball of paper down reach wand

Drop a small ball of paper down one end of the reach wand

Ball of paper fallen through reach wand

This should drop straight through. If not, you have a blockage that will need to be removed

Check for blockage in handheld

Check the handheld unit for a blockage where the reach wand normally attaches

Blockage in the floorhead

Check the neck of the floorhead for any blockages
