Remove the dirt container from the handheld

Pull the fabric tab to remove the filter from the separator, and tap the filter against the side of a bin to remove any dirt/debris

Remove the dirt container from the handheld

Pull the separator to remove from the dirt container and tap against the side of a bin to remove and dirt or debris. Replace the separator and filter and push the dirt container lid to close

Remove the floorhead from the reach wand

Using a pair of scissors, cut away any hairs or threads

Remove the reach wand from the machine.

This should drop straight through. If not, you have a blockage that will need to be removed
